A Professional Journey That Became a Purpose.
The Social Compass Collective grew from my professional and lived experience as a first-generation Latina, bilingual forensic social worker, advocate, and systems navigator. For more than 12 years, my work has centered on helping individuals navigate complex systems, find their voice, and move through challenging transitions.
Along the way, I recognized a shared experience among many first-generation and bicultural professionals: learning to navigate professional spaces while translating identity, culture, values, and lived experience between worlds.
TSCC was created to help make that navigation more intentional, turning lived experience into leadership, clarity, purposeful action, and meaningful impact.
